Following the five short steps straight down from the salon will lead you to the central passage of the accommodations. This traditional layout has been a signature mainstay in the Fleming 55 that provides an easy and convenient flow of traffic throughout the boat. This central accommodations passage also makes it possible to appreciate the full length of the vessel from forepeak bulkhead to transom. Once in the passageway you will find upper/lower bunks in the cabin to starboard and a VIP guest stateroom to port with twin berths. Just forward of the starboard side cabin in the passageway is the guest head. The en-suite master stateroom tops off the accommodations at the forward peak of the vessel. New electronic AC controls installed throughout boat, including the staterooms.
The master stateroom is composed of a queen sized island berth (New 2023 custom mattress) surrounded by shelves, cabinets, drawers, and his & hers hanging lockers to either side. This island berth arrangement allows for access from either side and the berth can be raised with gas-assisted struts to access a large storage cavity underneath, perfect for storing extra bed linens or keeping valuables out of sight. Over head are two hatches which, along with port holes to each side, provide natural light to the cabin. Access to the en-suite master head is found to port side, and to starboard is a wall-mounted 27” LG Smart TV facing the berth.
Both the master and guest heads are exceptionally spacious and feature shower stalls with teak grate flooring, mirrored vanities with sinks, Corian countertops, and Headhunter toilets. The boat’s 120v washer/dryer combination unit (replaced in 2023) is found within the guest head shower stall.
The port stateroom features twin berths with a nightstand separating them. Storage is provided through shelving above, a hanging locker & dresser drawers at the foot of the outboard berth, and drawers beneath both berths. A full length mirror and wall-mounted 18” Toshiba flatscreen TV is situation at the forward wall of the stateroom. The starboard stateroom features a upper and lower bunk arrangement with ample storage through various drawers and a nightstand. A custom work table is situated over the starboard cabin nightstand and can fold down to form a large desk space—this table can easily be detached.
