The BYS Maine Event - Fleming Yacht Cruise

We recently hosted a Fleming Yacht cruise and gathering for our owners in Downeast Maine! The BYS Maine Event, was a three-day event featuring 22 Fleming Yachts and nearly 80 guests. After gathering at Dysart’s Marina in Maine’s Southwest Harbor, the Fleming owners embarked on a long guided cruise through Downeast Maine. Highlights of the tour included cruising around Mount Dessert Island, Somes Sound, Frenchman Bay, and then into Winter Harbor. The fleet then anchored out front of Winter Harbor Yacht Club and came to shore for a Maine surf & turf feast! The following morning, was breakfast with a presentation on the importance of Maine’s lobster industry. Finally a send-off day cruise, 40 nm North to Roque Island concluded the weekend-long BYS Maine Event, as owners went on to enjoy further exploration of beautiful Downeast Maine.

What a wonderful and fun time we all had at the Fleming rendezvous in Maine! All the Burr Yacht Sales staff, especially AJ and Hannah, did a great job in planning and carrying out the event. With the backdrop of the mountains the procession of beautiful Fleming yachts was certainly a spectacular sight. We are looking forward to future Fleming Family gatherings.

What a wonderful rendezvous. It was superbly planned and executed and we enjoyed every minute of it. A special thanks to AJ for everything he did to make it so successful including escorting us to Roque Island just 30 miles from the Canadian border. That is a special place. The route he selected to get us there was stunning and we appreciated his informative commentary along the way. We are already looking forward to the next one.
